AHRI’s research combines population, basic and translational, social, and clinical sciences to understand and intervene in the health and well-being of South African communities. AHRI works in partnership with local communities and South African academic, governmental, and other policy stakeholders and collaborates with over 60 institutions globally.     Clinical Research Assistant Supervisor - Kwazulu Natal

    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Grade 12 (Standard 10)
    • Post matric qualification (certificate/diploma/degree in a health-related field)
    • Computer literate, proficient in Ms Office, email and internet.
    • A valid driver’s license with atleast 2 years' experience.
    • Basic HIV counselling certificate (Ten-day course).
    • Adherence counselling certificate (Five-day course)
    • A valid GCP certificate.

    Minimum Experience

    • 2-3 years of research experience in collecting qualitative and or quantitative data capturing.
    • Proven previous experience as a community health worker or providing home-based care.
    • Proven previous experience in supervisory position.

    Advantageous Requirements

    • Experience in HIV counselling individual and group facilitation.
    • GCP compliant and knowledge of medical terminology.
    • Current resident of the clinic catchment areas under the clinics listed on the description above (if working at Mpukunyoni area)
