Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with extensive Operating Theatre experience to join our team as a Clinical Sales Consultant. You will use your clinical expertise in haemodynamic and advanced patient monitoring to drive sales, provide technical support during surgical procedures, and train clinical staff on life-saving monitoring technology. 
• Region: Pretoria - Pretoria East, Centrurion, Tshwane Noth including Life Glynwood

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities within private and public hospitals in Pretoria, achieving set territory sales targets.
• Clinical Support: Attend surgical cases to provide real-time technical guidance to anaesthetists and theatre staff on the use of advanced monitoring equipment.
• Training & Education: Lead in-service training sessions and "show-site" demonstrations for surgeons, nurses, and hospital technicians.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and hospital procurement departments.
• Strategic Reporting: Monitor competitor activity and provide market feedback to the Regional Sales Manager using CRM tools. 

Requirements

• SANC Registration: Current registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Clinical Experience: 5–7 years of experience as a Theatre Scrub Nurse or Anaesthetic Nurse.
• Specialization: Post-Basic Diploma in Medical & Surgical Nursing Science (Operating Theatre) is highly advantageous.
• Monitoring Knowledge: Proven proficiency in haemodynamic monitoring, cardiovascular pathology, and high-acuity patient care.
• Mobility: Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle (required for daily hospital visits). 

Required Skills & Competencies

• Commercial Mindset: Ability to transition clinical expertise into a consultative sales approach.
• Communication: Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical data to diverse medical audiences.
• CRICE Certification: Candidates with existing CRICE (Clinical Research Integrated Core Evaluation) certification for theatre access will be prioritized.
