JOB SUMMARY

• We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our client's joinery department in Cape Town, South Africa. In this role, you will be responsible for programming CNC machines based on design specifications, ensuring compliance with production standards, and overseeing the efficient operation of machinery.

• Our Client is a prominent player in the Marine Industry based in Cape Town, South Africa. They specialising in the design and manufacture of sailing and power catamarans. Renowned for their performance, durability, and seaworthiness, the Client's vessels are highly sought after by both private owners and charter companies.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for vacancy, the successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies, but not limited to:

• Minimum qualification: NQF Level 4 qualification.
• Ideal qualification: National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Production Management/Engineering or related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years’ experience on supervisory level.
• Minimum: 3 years’ experience in CNC programming.
• Working knowledge of ALPHACAM and MASTERCAM.
• Working knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel).

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Programming CNC machines per design specifications
• Maintaining and troubleshooting machines
• Stock control of tools and equipment
• Leading a team with continuous training and development
