We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our College team from January 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and rigorous lessons that inspire students to achieve academic excellence while developing confidence and curiosity in the subject.
You will play an active role in shaping learners’ progress, contribute to the school’s academic culture, and participate fully in the broader life of the school.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring and challenging Mathematics lessons.
Create a supportive classroom environment that promotes active engagement and high achievement.
Assess, record, and report on student progress and attainment.
Reflect on and refine teaching practice to ensure continued professional growth.
Provide extra lessons or tutoring support as required.
Produce and maintain high-quality teaching materials and resources.
Communicate promptly and professionally with parents and colleagues.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
A relevant university degree in Mathematics or related subject.
Certified teaching status with current SACE registration.
A minimum of five years’ teaching experience at College or High School level.
Proven record of success in teaching Mathematics, ideally within an IEB or equivalent curriculum.
Demonstrated experience integrating ICT in teaching and learning.
Passion for teaching and inspiring young people.
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
High professional standards and commitment to student welfare.
Adaptability and enthusiasm for continuous professional improvement.
A positive, collaborative approach and alignment with the values of Inspired Education.
