    Commercial Manager

    Our rapidly expanding company is looking for a self-motivated, experienced Commercial Manager, who, through consultative approach work with clients (COO; CFO; HR Division) will identify the commercial drivers in a business.

    The ideal candidate should be excited about the opportunity to identify, pursue and capture new business opportunities. They will work with the client to understand what internal key performance indicators are contained in the commercial drivers – if there aren’t any to establish and build them with the customer. 

    From identifying the commercial drivers and their relevant KPI’s or ROE metrics, to then further provide a solution that will impact on these KPI’S and ROE measures. 

    The Commercial Manager must implement and track the solution to completion. The successful candidate should have several years’ of experience in financial management of projects, putting together proposals for new business and negotiating and agreeing to contracts.

    The applicant will have a track record of success overseeing projects from inception to completion and identifying and mitigating risks involved. The ability to nurture relationships with clients throughout projects is crucial as well. 

    The role involves managing projects across provinces, as well as collaborating with other departments internally.

    Requirements:

    • The successful applicant must have a Marketing; Sales or Business Management Degree
    • At least 5 years proven track record of projects, developing commercial side of the business, and work in a sales related field
    • Working in a training sector will be of an advantage
    • Must have a driver’s license, and own vehicle
    • Position to be based at Pretoria office
    • Be willing to travel nationally
