The Job
Optimi is recruiting for a Commercial Project Manager, to serve as a business consultant to our executives and to coordinate the implementation of our new strategic business offerings. The candidate must be passionate about new business ventures, market research, and project management. The ideal candidate should have experience in defining and launching new business customer offerings. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with good communication, networking, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:

• BCom Degree in Marketing, Business related qualification or MBA is advantageous
• Six (6) or more years of relevant experience
• Exposure to commercial project implementation, market research, supplier management and business case development
• Exposure to various IT operations support software
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills

Duties:

• Lead consulting initiatives to facilitate the development of commercial business plans.
• Investigate commercial trends and validate new opportunities.
• Support business with pricing analysis and strategy development.
• Facilitate the gathering of detailed business requirements for new commercial offering enablement.
• Identify high level operational, system dependencies, and implement the scope of work.
• Support the development of market plans in collaboration with the stakeholders of respective offerings being implemented.
• Develop detailed project costing, timelines, and implementation plans that are in line with budget.
• Put plans in place to ensure business operational is ready for new offerings.
