    Compliance Analyst

    What will you be doing?

    As Compliance Analyst, you will report to the Risk and Compliance Lead, and provide support to the team on the following key responsibilities:

    • You will support the Risk and Compliance team in maintaining compliance to all standards, regulatory and legal requirements
    • You will support the activities in maintaining the Information security management system framework ISO 27001 and all other standards of the company
    • You will review compliance documentation for internal and external stakeholders and conduct research on applicable regulation
    • You will support the completion of due diligence requests and the risk management process
    • You will maintain data protection procedures and create applicable procedures, policies and documentation as required
    • You will maintain registers for compliance activities: training, audits, documentation etc.
    • You will complete any other administration and support to achieve Compliance deliverables

    What do we need from you?

    • You will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a compliance or information governance role
    • You will be independent, highly organised with ability to prioritise workload effectively, meeting tight deadlines, being flexible, adaptable and results oriented
    • You will have excellent communication skills, and be able to build good interpersonal relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
    • You will have the ability to use initiative within the scope of compliance requirements
    • Excellent IT skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and G-Suite
    • You will have experience of working with ISO frameworks, in particular information security and quality standards; additional knowledge of any other management systems standards would be beneficial
    • You will have experience in maintaining management system frameworks and an understanding of data protection regulatory requirements would be beneficial (GDPR and POPIA)
    • You will have exposure to the internal audits process and risk management with a high attention to detail
    • You will be educated to a degree or diploma in Information Systems, Compliance, Business, Law, or related qualification
    • You will have certifications in ISO standards – 9001, 27001
