Compliance Coordinator at Farm Managers SA

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Preference given to qualifications in either Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety and Compliance
• Proven 3+ Years experience as a Compliance Officer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with the agricultural or farming industry is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS

• Continuous preparation of Compliance Audits (Global Gap and add-ons, SIZA Social, SIZA Environmental)
• Ensure the farm complies with local, national, and international regulations.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the agricultural sector.
• Carbon Footprint Calculations
• Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters.
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints.
• Data capturing on excel and Intranet for trend analysis:
• Training records
• Medical Records
• IOD’s
• Sanitation
• Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to identify potential compliance risks
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to management
• Arrange and chair meetings (health & safety, employment equity, and workers committee)
• PhytClean Registrations
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure overall compliance.
• PPE Management (Purchasing and issuing)
