Compliance Manager at Tsebo Solution

• An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and results-driven Compliance Manager to join our Catering Division.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Lead and manage compliance programmes relating to Occupational Health & Safety, Food Safety, Environmental Management, and Quality Assurance.
• Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, food safety regulations, infection prevention and control requirements, and client-specific standards.
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve SHEQ management systems in line with HACCP and ISO standards.
• Conduct compliance audits, workplace inspections, food safety assessments, and risk evaluations.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, food safety complaints, occupational injuries, and foodborne illness events.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventative action plans.
• Establish and facilitate Health and Safety Committees and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Drive safety awareness, compliance initiatives, and continuous improvement programmes across all sites.
• Facilitate inductions, toolbox talks, food safety training, and compliance workshops.
• Monitor supplier and contractor compliance.
• Oversee emergency preparedness programmes, including evacuation drills and emergency response planning.
• Ensure effective implementation of hygiene, pest control, waste management, and chemical safety programmes.
• Maintain compliance records, registers, permits, and statutory documentation.
• Compile and present monthly compliance, audit, risk, and performance reports to management and clients.
• Collaborate with hospital management teams, operational managers, and regulatory authorities to ensure full compliance across all catering operations.

Qualifications    

• Degree or Diploma in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
• SAMTRAC qualification (advantageous).
• HACCP, Food Safety, ISO 22000 Lead Auditor, or related certification advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Compliance, SHEQ, Health & Safety, or Food Safety Management role.
• Proven experience implementing and managing SHEQ systems.
• Experience within healthcare catering, hospital services, facilities management, hospitality, food services, or a similar environment.

Strong knowledge of:
