Compliance Officer at Phakisa Group

• Exciting opportunity for a Compliance Officer to ensure the effective management and administration of compliance levels. Duties include conducting compliance checks, audits, filing, background check verification, HR administration, and report generation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct compliance checks for new employees and ensure correct documentation
• Perform non-compliance audits, maintain logs, and address issues with operations
• Manage employee document filing and records in line with policies
• Verify background checks and maintain proof of checks on employee files
• Adhere to company compliance standards, policies, and procedures
• Maintain accurate employee database and submit reports as required
• Handle termination reports, assist with HR processes and recruitment
• Generate and analyze reports, assist with projects as needed

Key qualifications / requirements

• Matric is a requirement.
• Risk and Compliance Certificate would be advantageous.
• High level of computer literacy – specifically on MS Excel and Outlook
• Strong administration skills
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving abilities
• Previous Operational and administrative management experience (minimum 5 years)
• 3-5 years experience in the TES operation environment required in at least a management role
• Report writing and interrogation experience would be advantageous
• Drivers license.
