Concentrate Raw Material Planner - Humansdorp at Woodlands Dairy

Key Performance Areas:

• The incumbent will manage inventories and ensure that material resources are consistent with production schedules/requirements.
• Ensuring material specifications meet quality standards and quantities necessary for production, tracking production volumes and trends, creating and maintaining inventory schedules and coordinating with internal departments.
• The successful candidate will liaise with marketing regarding design changes as well as updating monthly sales forecasts.
• The candidate will attend daily production meetings and keep them updated on all material issues (for example slow moving/non-moving items).
• The candidate will also be responsible for the clearance of Import stock and logging of material claims.

Knowledge and Skills:

• The successful candidate will have a matric certificate, a three-year tertiary qualification in supply chain management, or a three-year tertiary qualification in accounting and have at least 2-3 years' experience in a similar position.
• This person should produce accurate work, be detail oriented and possess strong communication (both verbal and written), have good administration skills, good time management and problem-solving skills.
• The successful candidate should also have excellent computer skills especially in MS office (mainly excel) and BC (Business Central).
