Job Description

• A reputable civil engineering contractor specializing in infrastructure development and large-scale concrete works, is currently seeking a Concrete Foreman with extensive experience in bridge and concrete construction to join their dynamic team in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site concrete construction activities, with a focus on bridge-building projects.
• Coordinate and manage crews, subcontractors, and site logistics to ensure timely project delivery.
• Oversee the quality control of concrete pours and formwork installations.
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications to guide on-site operations.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve on-site issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of materials, labour, and equipment usage.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in concrete and bridge construction.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Knowledge of industry-standard safety procedures and regulations.
• Relevant trade certification or equivalent qualification in civil construction (advantageous).
• Willingness to be based in Nelspruit and work on-site.
