Job Summary

• To enable the effective implementation of risk frameworks.  This will be done by establishing and maintaining an integrated and effective risk management framework where risks are identified, quantified and managed on a consistent basis.

Job Description

• Operational Risk Management:  To identify, assess and manage all operational risks through the management and embedment of the following; MCA, Control Environment, CPA, Audit, Assurance, Conduct Risk, Product Risk, Resilience etc.
• Reporting: Monthly and Annual Operational Risk Reporting.
• Stakeholder Management: Management of Stakeholders in terms of Building Relationships with Channel Heads and Business Unit Partners, i.e. Legal, Compliance etc.
• Compliance Management: Management, embedment and maintenance of legislative and regulatory requirements, Policies and Standards, and monitoring of Compliance Training.

Education and Experience Required:

• NQF level 6; B degree in Commerce or Risk Management or equivalent
• 3 years experience in an Operational risk management or related field

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of the Risk environment and Risk management principles
• Keeping abreast of changes in industry regulations and develops own competency through continuing education

Education

• Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Risk Management (Required)
