Consumer Lines Manager at Chubb Europe

Key Responsibilities

• To execute key travel and consumer lines strategies and ensuring that the LOB’s are responsible for meeting agreed financial targets.
• Coordinating the new business development process with the Travel BDM. This process will include executing and binding new business. Sales pitch preparations and supporting with RFPs; RFIs; and AdHoc Sales Presentations.
• Identify and implement revenue maximisation opportunities with existing partners, along with identifying African expansion opportunities were the size of the business, ability to export premium out of the county and data supports a partnership.
• Play an instrumental part in implementing and refining the Chubb SA digital strategy. Additional products and partners will need to be added to the platform, ultimately driving profit while managing ROAS.
• Team management will be a requirement, ensuring each team member understand what is expected of them, in terms of their performance and contribution to the business. Furthermore, clear development objectives and performance must be set annually and assessed formally on a mid and year-end basis.
• Responsibility of delivery of timely and accurate production, projections and other reporting to local & regional management. Furthermore all monthly/quarterly forecasts must be provided with supporting commentary in good time to meet submission deadlines.
• Be instrumental in country planning preparation and will play a proactive role in the management of South Africa Consumer Lines P&L.
• Support the underwriting team with the preparation of P&L’s for investment and underwriting approval and drive a customer centric culture in the business and ensure high quality customer service at all times.
