Control Engineering Technician: Mopani District Office

key Performance Areas
- Manage technical services and support in conjunction with Engineers, Technologists and associates in field, workshop and technical office activities.
- Manage administrative and related functions.
- Research and development.
Prerequisites
- Grade 12 plus a National Diploma in Engineering or relevant equivalent qualification as recognised by SAQA.
- Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technician.
- Minimum of six years post qualification technical experience.
- Valid driver’s licence (with exception of people with disabilities).

KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
- Technical Competencies: Project Management. Technical design and analysis knowledge Research and Development. Computer-aided Engineering applications. Knowledge of legal Compliance. Technical report Writing. Technical consulting.
- Generic Competencies: Problem solving and analysis. Decision making. Teamwork. Creativity. Financial management. Customer focus and responsiveness. Communication. Computer skills. Planning and organising. People management.
