Job description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform operating activities
• Take out plant permits
• Perform administrative duties
• Maintain electrical or mechanical plant equipment
• Assist with modifications
• Ensure availability of correct spares and materials
• Perform standby duties
• Supervise contractors, Eskom employee activities during outages

Minimum requirements

•  Grade 12/NCV4/NSC3 with Maths and Science at NQF4 with 120 credits plus Trade Test

or

• National Certificate in Gas Power Plant Auxiliary Systems Operations at NQF4 with 120 credits applicable to gas stations

or

• National Certificate in Hydro Power Plant Auxiliary Systems Operations NQF4 with 120 credits applicable to hydro stations

Related Minimum Experience:

• 2 years Technical Experience in maintenance environment
