Conveyancing Secretary at The Career Network

REQUIREMENTS

• More than 5 years’ experience in bond registrations, preferably Investec home loans (but not a pre-requisite)
• Must preferably be proficient Legal Suite and Lexis Convey
• Good understanding of FICA requirements
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Strong problem solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Good Time Management, file organisation and personal organisation
• Excellent communication and writing skills

DUTIES

• Drafting legal documents
• Preparation of documents for submission to banks
• Completing work in progress milestones and progress reports
• Processing bond cancellations
• Preparation of conveyancing documents for lodgement and registration
• Liaising with clients, linked attorneys etc
• General office administration duties
• Typing of legal documents, letters, emails etc.
• Dealing with client’s queries
• Assisting within the team where required
