    Coordinator: Office of the CEO

    POSITION OBJECTIVE:

    • The incumbent will provide operational day-to-day support to the Office of the CEO, including data collection and process workflow analysis to identify improvement areas that could hinder efficiencies.  Further, they will consider activities at the SANRAL Head Office and respective regions regarding coordination, planning, and monitoring strategic objectives implementation.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum NQF Level 7 Qualification in Commerce/Finance/Economics, or Business Science or Engineering.
    • Minimum of 3 years of business operations support experience.
    • Experience in business process improvement and forecasting.
    • Report writing skills are required.
    • MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) (Proficient)

    ADVANTAGEOUS:

    • Experience in the Public Sector and Built environment will be an added advantage.

    TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

    • Ability to analyse data and present it in such a way that allows appropriate solutions to be derived
    • Ability to assess business imperatives and goals and articulate them as per the business's operational needs
    • Apply understanding of the assigned business process to identify gaps and identify continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Ability to plan, design, implement and monitor processes to improve system and business performance
    • Ability to find new ways to enhance the contribution to the business and define alternative solutions to resolve problems
    • Ability to participate in cooperative working relationships, including knowledge sharing and partnership in achieving solutions within and across teams
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task
    • Ability to stay focused on different tasks and use your time effectively and efficiently to achieve the desired outcome.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Internal / Operational Processes

    • Support the Office of the CEO and the Executives by analysing functional KPIs based on various dimensions and identifying areas of improvement.
    • Collect, analyse and manipulate data from various sources to support the Office of the CEO with reporting and/or decision-making; this includes but is not limited to operation management information, an overview of all the projects/transactions within SANRAL, the progress of each project/transaction, identifying potential opportunities and challenges.
    • Provide support in or conduct research and analysis of trends for operations process optimisation.
    • Identify and provide recommendations for Business process improvements where required and support the facilitation of the implementation of such recommended solutions.

    Customer Focus & Stakeholder Management

    • Build relationships across SANRAL offices and external stakeholders (when necessary) to achieve goals and objectives.
    • Dealing with or directing queries as may be required.

    • Take responsibility for personal development and growth.
