Job Description

• The successful candidate will be responsible for creating strategic internal and external communication and content for various platforms, in line with the company’s guidelines and approved tone of voice, which conveys messages accurately, creatively and effectively.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• Relevant degree in Marketing and Communication / Corporate Communication / Journalism.
• Experience in a corporate communication or news environment: 4 - 6 years

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and implement strategic communication projects to support the company’s strategy
• Create creative and captivating content through storytelling for various projects and platforms, including digital and social media, publications, and communications
• Generate subjects and content for publications and other communication for strategic utilisation on various platforms
• Provide support for operational/business specific communication and content within the company
• Manage and curate communication and other platforms, including the company’s digital/online presence
• Support the Head of Corporate Communications to coordinate and utilise subject matter experts and other external content resources
• Create content to promote the company’s image using different media (written and visual) and continuous adherence to the guidelines and tone of voice of the company
• Effective liaison with Group Marketing and Communications team members to execute tasks at a high level
• Accurate translation (Afrikaans to English and English to Afrikaans)
• Accurate proofreading and editing
• Application of corporate identity in all communication material
