Our client seeks to make an appointment for the position of Copywriter and Editorwhowill develop copy for the organisation's marketing material and for other business purposes and to ensure the correct language usage and adherence to the style guide so as to project a positive image of the organisation.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Using existing information or gathering information from other sources (eg through interviews, via web searches etc) to write and develop content for specific communications projects both internal and external.
To produce video/audio scripts
To produce speeches for executives and others
Conduct interviews: In person, Telephonically, By email of staff, stakeholders and others.
Proof reading and edit text origin from within the organisation or outside (External) sources to ensure it is factual and uses correct style and grammar
Translate scientific and technical terms into easy-to-read content for general use
Assist in Providing inputs and based on review
Assisting in producing communication policy
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism or English
At least 7 years as a writer, editor or both (for a corporate organisation)
