Corporate Events Specialist at Computershare

What key accountabilities you will have in the role? 

• Check the register figures and the issued capital
• Capture dividend data onto SCRIP
• Manage output of EFT data to recons for submission to banks to process EFT Payments
• Advise clients of dividend funding details
• Balance EFT Advice totals
• Maintain a close relationship with clients
• Process payments successfully to ensure payments are not missed
• Maintain Information Integrity
• Adhere to documented controls and procedures 
• Identify improved ways to work in short & long term in a specific area to minimise risk

What skills and experience will you bring to the role?   

• Grade 12
• Dividends Experience (Preferred)
• Experience in Project Management and Event Coordination (Preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Strate, JSE listing requirements, Companies Act and the FMA in respect of corporate events (preferred)
• Knowledge of Financial Services Industry
• Knowledge of Registry systems advantageous
• Letter writing ability in English
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Good understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements.
