Corporate Finance Senior Manager at Robert Walters

• As part of a hugely successful and well-established team, you will focus on Mid-Market deals with some very well-known headline brands already in their project history, and a lot of in-flight deals to get stuck into immediately You will be a team-player, who is able to win work either in a Lead or a 2ic position, and also deliver on that work, with equal skill. The Corporate Finance Senior Manager role will require at least 7 years of Corporate Finance, 5 of which are in M&A and 3 years involving the management of others

• Banking
• Big 4 Corporate Finance/ Transaction Advisory Teams
• Boutique Corporate Finance/M&A firms

Qualifications

• Qualified CA(SA) (Chartered Accountant) preferred, but not essential
• In the absence of CA(SA) qualification, then Honours in Business Science + CIMA or CFA Charterholder will also be considered
• JSE Sponsor/ JSE Approved Executive experience advantageous, providing Corporate Finance/M&A deal credentials are also in place
• If not to Sponsor/Executive level, listed experience is still a must

Key competencies

• Extensive experience of leadership/ mentorship of juniors
• Strong Financial Valuations & Financial Modelling
• Detailed industry and sector analysis
• Transaction structuring
• Expert Powerpoint user, able to easily create pitch books and other types of materials
• Methodical with extreme attention to detail
• Warm and easy-going personality, but extremely hard-working
