Corporate Finance & Tax Manager at CA Financial Appointments

The Role

A leading global innovator in the renewable energy sector is seeking to appoint a Corporate Finance & Tax Manager in their Cape Town or Johannesburg offices. Salary dependent on experience - R800k - R1m per annum negotiable

Responsibilities:

• Provide tax, accounting and corporate structuring support to multiple business areas
• Provide input for the group corporate and tax structure in conjunction with the financial control and legal teams
• Support the Director in risk management for various areas of the business

Requirements:

• Qualified CA(SA) / CIMA / equivalent professional tax or finance qualification
• Appropriate experience in a tax / accounting / consolidating / reporting role
• Solid accounting and tax technical skills (IFRS, international tax legislation) and ability to implement such practises
• International investment structuring and ability to assess tax matters relevant to a capital-intensive business highly advantageous
• Experience in a group / multinational / complex business environment essential
• Ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
• Attention to detail, organisation and time management skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiating and influencing skills
