Cost Accountant (Milling) - Frankfort - Free State at Fourier Recruitment

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain costing records
• Project costing
• Generate costing reports
• Develop and maintain costing models
• Monitor purchase price variance
• Stock evaluation at month-end
• Assist in the budget and forecast process with pricing structures
• Assist with stock counts
• Compile monthly management reports
• Ensure daily posting of production & transfer orders
• Assist all departments with IT related enquiries
• Approval of General journals & payments on ad-hoc basis
• Maintain inventory item setup on NAVISION
• Monitor & rapport production efficiency on weekly basis

Skills

• Strong analytical, numeracy and interpersonal skills
• Good computer literacy, with the ability to function at an advanced level in Excel
• Ability to function independently, in a team and accept responsibility

Minimum Requirements

Requirements

• BCom Accounting
• CIMA qualification will serve as recommendation
• Completed SAICA articles
• 3 years’ relevant experience within the Cost Accounting field
• Maintain inventory item setup on NAVISION
• Strong Afrikaans and English Skills (Written and Verbal
