Cost Accountant at Robert Walters

Role Purpose:

A leading manufacturer, based in Cape Town, is looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to join the team. This individual will have between 3-5 years of cost accounting experience together with a background within the manufacturing space.

Cost Accountant responsibilities:

• Determining actual cost of manufacturing
• Compiling and presenting monthly reports related to actuals, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements to all stakeholders
• Develop proper costing models, as well as implementation of control procedures with regards to the cost accounting
• Financial forecasting and risk analysis

Cost Accountant requirements:

• Previous cost accounting experience
• BCOM/CIMA qualification
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Attention to detail
