Cost Controller: Aircraft Fleet Management - Kempton Park at FlySafair

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure all administrative data is kept up to date throughout the contractual periods;
• Assist with information specific to contractual terms and conditions relating to asset leases during the lease term;
• Calculate the maintenance provision of the leases are correctly applied and recorded;
• Ensure all available reserve funding, warranties and credits are managed and claimed;
• Monitor that the various MRO/AMO/CAMO functions are correctly applied to the specifics of the lease based on the guidance from the Senior Asset Protection Administrator;
• Check that all operation requested changes made, are in line with the contract recorded and Lessor agreed;
• Ensure any operational limitations in the lease are visible to the operations department and managed and enforced through communication;
• Accurately complete the month end reporting to the lessor for billing purposes;
• Ensure invoices are correctly processed and escalations applied;
• Ensure timeous monthly reporting to Lessors;
• Collaborate with colleagues across Asset Management and other internal departments;
• Build and maintain relationships with external vendors;
• Ad hoc duties as required from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric;
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in a Finance related role (Debtors/Creditors/Cashbook Clerk/Bookkeeper etc.);
• Basic understanding of aviation business will be beneficial;
• Computer proficient and sound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
