• A Southern African retail solutions company is looking for customer service professionals who are interested in being trained as Baristas, based in Gauteng and Cape Town

About the Role

• We are looking for vibey, energetic, and sales-driven individuals to join our Roastery Coffee team
• Are you an energetic salesperson who will actively engage with customers, rather than wait for customers to come to them?

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Actively engage and approach customers to promote and sell our coffee and products
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages (training provided)
• Upsell and promote our products to drive sales and grow store performance
• Handle food items safely and hygienically (including light food preparation)
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety standards
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and POS systems
• Monitor stock levels, restock as needed, and report shortages
• Follow opening, closing, and cash-up procedures accurately
• Take initiative in creating a welcoming and high-energy environment

Requirements:

• Sales personality - confident, proactive, and not afraid to approach customers
• Energetic, positive, and resilient with the ability to handle rejection
• Excellent English communication skills
• Well-groomed, professional appearance
• Previous retail or food service experience is advantageous but not essential
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Matric qualification is essential
