    Creative Director

    • The Creative Director will oversee the artistic vision and direction for all design projects, leading a team of designers to execute innovative, impactful, and strategically sound creative work. This role requires not only a profound understanding of design but also an entrepreneurial mindset to drive growth and expand the capabilities of the design studio. 
    • This role is pivotal for someone who not only excels in design but also thrives in leadership, strategy, and entrepreneurship, pushing the boundaries of what a design studio can achieve.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Communication Design, or a related field; Post graduate degree is advantageous
    • Experience: At least 10 years in a creative role, with 5+ years in a leadership position, preferably within an agency or design studio setting.

    Skills:

    • Exceptional design skills with a portfolio showcasing a wide range of work.
    • Strong leadership, management, and team-building abilities.
    • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.).
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Creative Leadership:
    • Vision Setting: Develop and communicate a clear creative vision that aligns with the Eclipse Communications identity and business goals.
    • Project Oversight: Lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of design projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality, innovative outputs.
    • Design Strategy: Formulate strategic design approaches that address business challenges and opportunities, enhancing user experience and customer engagement.
    • Team Management:
    • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, art directors, and related creatives. Foster a collaborative, creative, and productive work environment.
    • Talent Development: Identify training needs, facilitate workshops, and provide one-on-one coaching to improve team skills and creativity.
    • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals, and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with company objectives.
    • Strategic and Entrepreneurial Growth:
    • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, pitch creative concepts to potential clients, and contribute to winning new projects or expanding existing client relationships.
    • Brand Expansion: Drive the studio’s growth by exploring new markets, services, or product lines that align with the studio’s strategic vision.
    • Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends, technology, and methodologies to keep the studio at the forefront of design innovation.
    • Client Relations:
    • Client Interaction: Serve as the primary creative contact for key clients, understanding their needs, managing their expectations, and ensuring satisfaction with the deliverables.
    • Presentation: Present creative concepts and strategies to clients with clarity and persuasion, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
    • Operational Management:
    • Resource Allocation: Manage budget, timelines, and resources effectively to meet project deadlines and financial goals.
    • Financial and Project Direction: Oversee the department's financial planning and costing models in conjunction with finance teams ensuring effective quoting and profitability.
    • Quality Control: Oversee the quality of all creative outputs, from initial concepts to final products, ensuring they meet both internal standards and client expectations.
