Credit Controller at Marvel Placement Consultant

Minimum Requirements:

• Advantageous: Relevant financial tertiary qualification
• 3+ years’ experience as a Credit Controller.
• Fluent in English, demonstrating strong language proficiency.
• Proficient in Excel, with hands-on experience in spreadsheet functions and data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, fostering effective interaction with colleagues and clients.
• Advantageous: Previous exposure with NAV (Microsoft Dynamics NAV, was an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software product developed by Microsoft.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensuring timely completion of tasks and goals in a professional manner, in alignment with deadlines and targets.
• Professionally communicating with customers to ensure timely payments.
• Managing entries in the cashbook with precision and accuracy.
• Processing journals in a proficient and organised manner.
• Addressing customer queries professionally and efficiently.
• Allocating payments accurately and in accordance with the specified guidelines.
• Excel proficiency: Expertise in using Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial tasks.
• Reconciliation skills: Ability to perform thorough and accurate reconciliations of financial records.
• Exceptional telephone etiquette: Demonstrated professionalism and courtesy in all communication with customers, clients, and colleagues during phone interactions.
