We are seeking an experienced credit strategist to join our fixed income and macro research team to bolster our existing research effort in this space.
The credit strategist provides top-rated client-focused research covering the rand denominated listed non-government debt market.
This includes parastatals, municipalities, corporates, financials and securitizations.
The successful incumbent will have a passion for research, ideally with a minimum 5 years’ experience in credit research or a related field and prior experience with servicing institutional clients. However, other suitable candidates, for example seasoned credit analysts with financial modelling skills and technical report writing capability, will also be considered.
Success in the role will depend on an ability to work closely within the broader research team as well as the markets trading and sales teams and colleagues across investment banking
