Job Summary

Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented CRM Associate to join our team in Cape Town.

The position reports to the CRM Lead- Advertising.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Custodian of the CRM tools (Braze/Salesforce).
• Develop and execute communication automation strategies.
• Manage advertising customer data.
• Track the performance of all CRM initiatives.
• Analyze CRM data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Day-to-day execution and quality control of all email communication campaigns.
• Work with the sales team to retain and engage advertisers.
• Additional tasks may include:
• Content creation and development.
• Creating and managing customer surveys.
• Working with the product team to launch new products and report on CRM data.
• Collaborating with partner agencies, as well as internal and external entities.

Qualifications and experience: 

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing related)
• 2 years’ experience in Advertising / Sales
• 2 years’ experience in Braze/Salesforce or other CRM tools

Skills required:

• Proficiency in Braze/Salesforce Account engagement 
• Proficiency in Looker Marketing automation
• Knowledge in Sponsored Advertising
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Copywriting skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Understanding of CRM best practices
• Knowledge of marketing and sales strategies
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting
• Experience with project management.
