Customer and Sales - Team Lead at Helderberg Personnel

What you will do

• Coach, guide, and support Hire Specialists across Front Office and Back Office Sales
• Drive excellent customer service from enquiry to return
• Help the team convert enquiries into hires through proper follow-up
• Keep quotes, contracts, returns, extensions, payments, and admin accurate
• Work closely with workshop and logistics so clients get the right equipment on time
• Handle client queries, complaints, risk matters, and pressure professionally
• Keep the shop floor, counter, displays, and client areas neat and ready

What you will lead

• Front Office Sales: counter, phones, walk-ins, returns, quotes, and client service
• Back Office Sales: WhatsApp, email, quote follow-up, bookings, admin, and client communication
• Daily service standards, follow-up discipline, and team energy
• A team culture built on care, urgency, accuracy, and accountability
• Correct hire solutions for contractors, builders, DIY clients, and regular account clients

Requirements / Abilities

• Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Confident in using Computers, POS/Admin systems, email and WhatsApp
• Balance sales, service, admin control, and people leadership 
• People first leader who cares about client and staff
• A self-starter who takes initiative and follow up properly 
• Friendly, kind, calm and professional with clients
• Firm on standards, process, cash, contracts and accountability 
• Ability to coach, correct and motivate 
• Ability to work under pressure and keep team moral positive 
• Willingness to learn the unique world of tool and equipment
