Customer Engineer, Application Modernization at Google

As an Application Modernization Customer Engineer, you will drive Application Modernization adoption with EMEA customers. You will help customers to digitally transform by adopting containers and managed services. You will understand the value of increasing speed, security, and reliability of software delivery pipelines and articulate this value to our customers. You will build-out and maintain technical materials such as workshops and labs that the field can use. You will be an ambassador of application modernization not only in EMEA but globally.

Responsibilities

• Work with Google Cloud EMEA’s customers and help articulate the value of digital transformation through containers and managed services.
• Build reusable and scalable technical assets.
• Work with the Global Solutions Engineering teams to define, build, improve, and scale solutions, workshops, and labs.
• Work with Product and Engineering team to consolidate EMEA customer needs towards product roadmap, and ensure field readiness on product roadmap and capabilities.
• Grow the Application Modernization Community by giving internal and external presentations, advocating for technology, training other Customer Engineers, writing blogs, and managing community events.
