Professionally greet and assist customers (walk‑in, telephone, and email), ensuring first‑contact excellence.
Accurately receive, interpret, and confirm customer requirements to minimise errors and misunderstandings.
Process sales orders and quotations accurately in the ERP system.
Apply authorised special pricing agreements and ensure all supporting documentation is accurate and complete.
Respond to product and technical queries within agreed service level standards.
Issue, print, and file sales orders and invoices accurately, meeting audit and compliance requirements.
Maintain organised, accurate monthly filing systems for all supporting documentation. Ensure customers clearly understand ordering processes, pricing, and procedures prior to order confirmation.
Deliver consistent, reliable service that supports customer retention and repeat business.
Professionally handle customer feedback and service concerns, escalating where necessary and contributing to effective resolution.
Actively support continuous improvement by identifying service gaps and sharing customer insights with the team.

The ideal candidate must have completed Matric, it would be advantageous should the candidate have completed any tertiary qualification or certificate in business administration, commerce or customer service. The candidate should have at least three to five years of experience in a customer service role, within a manufacturing, FMCG or construction environment. This role will require an individual who is able to pay attention to detail and has accuracy skills, must have professional telephone manner and not forgetting the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure. The environment calls for a customer obsessed individual that has exceptional customer service and communication skills.
