Customer Service Specialist - Johannesburg at Mars

Overview

The role addresses the function of ensuring all customer orders are accurately and timeously captured for execution / delivery, as well as the resolution of queries from both internal and external customers

• Own customer orders process, from order capture, processing, and execution to invoicing to ensure timely and accurate product supply
• Resolution of day-to-day supply issues highlighted by customers and sales teams in conjunction with 3PL operations and Customer Service team, supported by the Customer Service Coordinator

What are we looking for?

• Education in supply chain or related field is beneficial (diploma, certificate). Minimum Grade 12
• 1 year FMCG customer service experience; order entry and management
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS Office Tools beneficia

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Ensure Customer orders are accurately captured and processed in the SAP system (this includes Free Stock, Trade Samples and Returns (NSR & GSR)), and integrated into the 3PL system
• Liaise with customer, 3PL & field sales on order queries / issues
• Daily reporting and problem resolution
• Support the returns process wrt timeous capturing of the uplift orders
• Work with Customer and 3PL to ensure delivery bookings are secured
• Ensure compliance to TOM (Target Operating Model)
• Support the daily SPM (Supply Performance Management) process
• Develop self and others in supporting a continuous improvement mindset
