    Customer Solution Engineer - Elevators & Escalators

    Are you the one?

    • Diploma, or higher, ideally in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry in design and layout drawings;
    • Auto Cad 2D qualification and experience with 3D Auto Cad or Inventor will be an added advantage;
    • Holistic knowledge of products and delivery process, handling tension between sales and supply;
    • Full support of the Salesperson/Field Operations by analyzing customers’ technical needs for special engineered contracts and large contracts; 
    • Develops proposals outlining how KONE’s products can provide clear solutions to meet these needs;
    • Ensure that the proposed solution fulfills the codes, regulations and safety requirements;
    • Customer contact for technical questions with potential participation in planning / specification meetings;
    • Organize the order documentation and order confirmation while managing the drawings and related documents;
    • Work on SAP and continually track and update milestones;
    • Good technical understanding of product and service solutions that meet the customer expectations;
    • Accountable for solution engineering and driving KONE integrated solutions;
    • To thoroughly execute local and regional supplier agreements;
    • Ownership of nominated contracts and audits on supplier quality;
    • To lead negotiations with the sales team with a good understanding of sales dynamics;
    • To thoroughly execute local and regional sales agreements;
    • Unfortunately on applications from South African Nationals may be accepted.
