You as a Customer Support Specialist - Sales order handler will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Modderfontein, South Africa. Your role entailed providing order management services to clients, activities include helping clients to handle order quoting, order processing, order fulfilment, review of orders, order entry, order dispatch & support, order payment etc. for their customers and ensuring timely release of orders and a fulfilment of pre-established standards and policies to achieve customer satisfaction & monitoring and resolving order issues and processing errors.
Your responsibilities
Creating, loading and updating costings on all Sales Orders and Service Order for multiple projects at the same time.
Creating and maintaining of all project and service-related purchase requestions within the allowable project cost structure.
Preparing and analyzing regular order status and performance statistics using available ERP reports and system tools to process relevant information.
Proactively informs customers about issue status based on inputs and clarifies any questions.
Ensuring the resolution of customer issues by coordinating with sales, project management, operations, supply chain management, and other internal or external stakeholders.
Supporting project executions as well as after-sales Service and spare parts teams with commercial and customer rated concerns to ensures a positive customer experience throughout the entire process.
Ensuring compliance with global and local financial standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations or project execution.
Shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.

Your background
A bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in similar role with knowledge of industry specific tools and software is a must.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
