The Cybersecurity Engineer role is a critical position within the Open Banking team, reporting directly to the Product Head. This role requires a hybrid background in Cyber Security and Software Engineering to build and maintain security toolsets, ensuring the safety and integrity of externally facing products. The Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and mitigating security threats, conducting bi-weekly penetration testing, and collaborating closely with the CyberSec team and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in developing security solutions, and the ability to adapt to evolving security challenges.
Our Ideal Candidate
At least 5 years’ experience in Cyber Security.
Strong background in both Cyber Security and Software Engineering.
Proficiency in programming languages, with experience in building security tools and systems.
Prior experience in conducting penetration testing and implementing security measures.
Familiarity with monitoring and mitigating security threats in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work closely with the CyberSec team and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
Experience in balancing security needs with business requirements and collaborating with different teams.
Strong analytical skills to identify and address security vulnerabilities and incidents.
Proactive approach to developing and implementing security solutions.
