Be part of the team that fuses data and technology to save Shoprite customers' time and money through innovation and creating more personalised shopping experiences. We are looking for data analysts within our Customer Ranging Squad, RainMaker Media Tribe and Personalisation Squad.
● Media - monetise Shoprite’s omni-channel media assets
● Personalization - Deliver personalised customer experiences and one-to-one offers at scale
● Customer Ranging - harness big data and advanced analytics to ensure frictionless shopping
Responsibilities
Understand the day-to-day issues that our business faces, which can be better understood with data
Compile and analyze data related to business' issues
Develop clear visualizations to convey complicated data in a straightforward fashion
A typical day in the life of a Data Analyst:
Calculate ROI/effectiveness of business initiatives
Continuous optimization of analytical processes and designs
Transforming data and analytical output into actionable insights
Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards
Forecasting
Tracking and measuring of trends
Ability to provide quick and accurate answers to adhoc business questions
Responsible for providing deep dive campaign insights to increase incremental sales and optimise campaigns.
Working with marketing teams to create a strategy to improve targeting of campaigns and increasing their return per contact
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics or Applied Mathematics or equivalent
2 - 4 years' Data Analysis experience
Proficient in SQL, Python and Tableau
