Data Analyst at TWK Agri

Job Description

• TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Data Analyst within the Financial Services division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Interpret and analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and actionable insights
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims, and finance, to understand data needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy through validation and quality control processes
• Identify and define new opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Translate complex data findings into clear, concise business insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Analyse financial, operational, and customer data to support mergers & acquisitions activities, including due diligence, valuation modelling, and post-merger integration planning

Qualifications and Skills:

• Matric / Grade 12 
• Degree in Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics or a related field (advantageous)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a data analytics or similar role
• Experience in the insurance or financial services environment
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualisation tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
