We are seeking a talented Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based data infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and high performance. The successful candidate will work closely with the development team and business stakeholders to identify data requirements, develop and implement data solutions, and provide technical expertise on all data-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based data infrastructure using AWS services.
Work with the development team and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop data solutions that meet business needs.
Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integrations to ensure data quality and consistency.
Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure to identify and resolve issues that impact data quality and availability.
Provide technical guidance and support to the development team on data-related matters.
Continuously evaluate new AWS services and technologies to identify opportunities to improve data infrastructure and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Cloud Data Engineer, with a focus on AWS.
Experience in AWS services, including but not limited to: S3, Redshift, RDS, Glue, Athena, Lambda, and EC2.
Experience with Databricks
Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
Strong SQL skills and experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
Experience with data modeling and database design.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data infrastructure issues.
