3-5 years of relevant experience within a heavy industry, mining, or production environment, with proven technical aptitude in application programming domains.
Experience with data management, reporting, analyses, and modeling to support decision making.
Certificate in SQL Database Coding.
Competence in Simulation Modelling and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Knowledge of data governance, data integrity, and security practices.
Ability to work in Agile and non-Agile environments.

Duties & Responsibilities
Implement and manage data governance strategies to ensure data integrity and accuracy across the business unit.
Lead the development and management of master and reference data to support effective data consolidation and integration.
Facilitate data forums and ensure the maintenance of data measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) required for business reporting.
Collaborate with data architects and analysts to support automation of analytics and reporting, ensuring usability in a business context.
Manage data flow logic and ensure a single, accurate version of truth is maintained across data marts.
Authorize data definitions and changes, ensuring compliance with security and privacy requirements.
Support the creation and modernization of data visualizations to aid decision-making and improve performance management.
Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting continuous learning and development among data custodians and developers.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards, promoting a culture focused on safe operations.
