Data & QA Engineer at Crypto Banter

Role Overview:

We're seeking a multifaceted specialist who blends the expertise of QA, Data Analysis, and Data Engineering. This role is integral to ensuring our educational platform's flawless operation, deriving insightful and actionable data-driven strategies, and maintaining a robust technological infrastructure. You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing user satisfaction, streamlining processes, and supporting our growth with high-quality data insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead comprehensive QA processes, including manual, automated and regression testing, for integrations with exchange partners, feature releases, and platform usability.
• Take ownership of our Mixpanel implementation, ensuring data integrity, accurate tracking, and effectiveness in capturing user interactions.
• Directly update the codebase to maintain or introduce new tracking events, minimizing the dependency on the development team.
• Develop, maintain, and present data dashboards, offering insights that drive strategic decisions and platform enhancements.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of user interaction data to inform improvements and support strategic decisions across the platform.
• Collaborate with development teams and exchange partners to automate verification processes, improving efficiency and user experience.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of combined experience in QA, data analysis, and data engineering within tech, SaaS, or fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing strategies, Excel/Google Sheets, SQL databases, and PHP.
• Solid experience with API integration and comprehensive management of data analytics platforms like Mixpanel, including previous implementation work.
• Demonstrated ability to derive insights from complex data sets and articulate findings clearly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A strong passion for cryptocurrency and a commitment to contributing positively to the crypto education landscape.
