What You'll Do
You will be a part of analytics focused engagements across statistics, optimization & simulations, machine learning and Big Data. In this role, you will focus on advanced statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms, advising on state-of-the-art quantitative modeling techniques in order to derive business insights and solve complex business problems. You will gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, develop and communicate recommendations. You will also be responsible for presenting results to client leadership and implementing recommendations with client team members.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in computer science, information technology or related fields with an excellent academic record
• 3+ years of experience building business algorithms/scenario planners/simulation engines to solve business problems
• Proven experience in working with large datasets and relational databases
• Advanced knowledge of statistical and machine learning techniques (regression, decision trees, clustering, neural networks, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in VBA, SQL/NoSQL, R, Python, etc.
• Experience in data extraction, transformation, cleaning, and validation
• Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions
• Experience implementing advanced analytics / data science models into a production environment is a plus
• Proven leadership with the ability to inspire others, build strong relationships, and create true followership, result-driven achievers
• Strong people skills, team-orientation, and a professional attitude
• Distinctive communications skills and ability to communicate analytical and technical content in an easy to understand way
