Qualification & experience

⦁    Grade 12
⦁    Related qualification in data science preferable (maths and statistics)
⦁    Relevant accreditations in tools, applications (i.e.:  Python, R, SQL, etc)
⦁    Preferably 6 months-1 year working experience in data analytics code and data extraction/reporting

Knowledge and skills

⦁    MS: Excel, Word, PP, Outlook, Access
⦁    Pandas (Python), R
⦁    Standard Data storage reading/writing: SQL, flat files including CSV
⦁    GLM modelling and Machine learning techniques
⦁    BI and Big Data tools would be an advantage: Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Data streaming
