    Data Scientist

    Qualification & experience

    ⦁    Grade 12
    ⦁    Related qualification in data science preferable (maths and statistics)
    ⦁    Relevant accreditations in tools, applications (i.e.:  Python, R, SQL, etc)
    ⦁    Preferably 6 months-1 year working experience in data analytics code and data extraction/reporting

    Lead Business Intelligence Analyst

    What will make you successful in this role?

    Qualifications and experience

    •    At least 7 years’ experience as a Business Intelligence analyst 
    •   Strong SQL skills required
    •   Experience in the Financial Industry preferred
    •   Experience in building data warehouse solutions advantageous 
    •   Honours degree in business/ information technology preferred
    •   Exposure to Marketing analytics, Customer analytics, Strategy development, Digital campaigns, Report development, Product analytics, Customer development and Client engagement advantageous
    •    Experience in agile development desired

    Legal Dispute Specialist

    What will you do?

    The position includes, but is not limited to, validation of all service/claims decisions with high & medium merit indicator, which may include interviewing witnesses, review of reports, towing operators, making recommendations and administration, liaising with service providers. Participation in claims committee meeting to drive fair outcomes. Liaising with Ombudsman Schemes. Handling of admin and/or call requests from complainants. Writing detailed responses to complainant and Ombudsman Schemes. Handling and resolving all complaints from any clients and service providers on claims and service matters.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • LLB Degree / BCOM law 
    •     Minimum 3 years in the STI (Short Term Insurance) environment 

    Essential requirements/ Characteristics

    • Good understanding of MiWay’s business rules, claims philosophy and business processes and ability to apply same
    •     Comprehensive knowledge of the PPR and TCF
    • Report drafting skills
    • Knowledge of insurance law / principles 
    • Knowledge of law of contract / principles
    • Knowledge of MiWay’s products and services, including the underwriting manual
