Job Description

At a Senior level the Performance Engineer is focused on enterprise and capturing enterprise techniques. They are focused on best practices and managing the team and working with the business. They are also technical and project focused. They lead a team of 5 to 7 Performance Engineers.

Is responsible for ensuring the installed database has been designed and built to exceed performance goals. Responsible for ensuring the definition, development, and execution of a full suite of performance tests for periodic release cycles, product validation and project level testing. Inform project and capacity planning by forecasting workload and resource utilization and by giving insight into present and future needs. Define and monitor database performance and end-user experience to enable faster root cause analysis. Define the approach, tools, and support roles needed to manage and triage performance issues. Being both technical and project focused, they are responsible for supporting and leading a team of 5 to 7 Performance Engineers.

The Cloud Database Engineer responsibilities will include design, development and implementation of scalable Cloud-based database solutions.

Provide expertise and perspective on Cloud development and infrastructure initiatives, including automations and migration from on premise systems.
