Debtor Controller - Farmpack (Pty) Ltd - Louw's Creek at VKB Group

Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in finance or accounting
• At least 3 years of experience in debtor management or a similar role
• Proven experience with debt collection and managing customer accounts
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Pastel)
• Strong communication skills in Afrikaans and English
• Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the company’s debtor accounts
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding debts and payment allocations
• Reconcile debtor accounts and assist in resolving any discrepancies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure smooth payment processes
• Monitor the aging of accounts and take appropriate action to follow up on overdue payments
• Provide accurate and up-to-date reports on debtor accounts to management
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal processes and ensure compliance
