JOB PURPOSE:
- Monitor and assist with bridge watchkeeping and administration.
- To ensure safe Deck operation, maintenance of all fishing and rigging gear.
JOB DIMENSION:
- Assist as an officer for watch keeping.
- Ensure that the vessel adhere to SAMSA & HACCP standards.
- Assist with stock control for fishing gear, rigging blocks and consumables.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- In possession of a SAMSA Deck officer COC
- Medically fit to work at sea – (no limitations)
- Proof of Seafarer Medical Certificate (valid or expired)

- Interpersonal skills
- Good Communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Sound management skills
- Working under pressure
- Function independently and as a team
