Deep Clean Manager - Saldanha Bay at Ecowize Group

The purpose is to manage the Deep Clean Hygiene Team to ensure that Ecowize delivers a food safe facility to the customer according to policies and procedures.

The Deep Clean Manager is the first line of contact to the customer during night shifts and must ensure customer centricity through regular and meaningful interactions with all key site stakeholders at all levels.

Job Specification: 

• Manage and coordinate all operational functions on site. 
• Deliver a daily Food Safe Facility to customer standards.  
• Use information obtained at the site to complete inspections, micros, audits, and customer feedback. 
• Manage site budgets and manage manhours as per shift schedule.  
• Responsible for staff management and resolving HR related matters.  
• Coach and mentor staff as well as developing their skills. 
• Drive Occupational Health and Safety and make recommendations to improve the process.  
• Ensure internal audits meet daily requirements.  
• Close out any raised non – conformances of micros out of specification and following up on NCRs. 
• Liaise daily with customers.  
• Assist with recruitment for the region as the need arises.  
• Assist with coordinating training interventions at site level.  

Requirements

Job Requirements: 

• Management /or Food Technology Qualification (advantageous). 
• Experience in FMCG and/or cleaning industry is essential. 
• Staff Management and Labour Relations experience is essential.  
• Experience working with a Hygiene Quality Management System is advantageous.   
• Good command of the English language. 
• High-Quality administrative skills required. 
• Be flexible to work at various sites as requested on short notice. 

The successful incumbent must have the following skill sets: 

• Must be comfortable with the Ecowize culture and values.  
• Able to work a strict shift position and willing to work over weekends. 
• Experience in the food production industry. 
• Must be able to manage the strict flow of operations.  
• Ability to work in a dynamic work environment and meet deadlines. 
• High work standards, energetic and driven. 
• Excellent communication skills (English Command). 
• Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.  
• Attention to detail.
